Why give to Emmaus?

Emmaus is a "faith ministry"
It is non-profit and supported by the voluntary gifts of Christian believers and churches.

Most Emmaus Bible courses are supplied for no charge.  Although some Emmaus courses are sold (eg. from this web site), most are given away to people such as prisoners who can’t afford to pay for them.

Unpaid volunteers mark Emmaus courses.  This ensures that donated funds are used wisely.

The Emmaus Bible School is registered with the New Zealand Charities Commission as a "charitable entity."  Our Registration Number is CC10206.  This means that donations over $5 are tax deductible for New Zealand tax payers.
