There may yet be hope

The message of the central verses of Lamentations.

In the midst of calamity is there any hope? We live in a world where there is much to bring us grief and sorrow. The man who wrote the Book of Lamentations had survived one of the greatest tragedies to strike his nation; he was personally affected. His laments speak of this. Yet, in his grief, there is a bright ray that shines through and brightens his darkness. What he learned can benefit us also.
